Vocal phenomenon JACKIE EVANCHO became a worldwide sensation at age 10, when the prodigy dazzled audiences with her stunning debut on NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent.” Now at age 19, Evanco has evolved into an internationally acclaimed artist with a clear creative vision. On the heels of her newly-released 2019 album “The Debut,” Evancho returns to The Smith Center to perform wildly popular melodies from hit contemporary musicals, including “Hamilton,” blockbuster musical film “The Greatest Showman,” and more of today’s top Broadway smashes, including “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Waitress,” “Once” and “Spring Awakening.”
Evancho marks the first recording artist to reimagine these melodies, now hailed as Broadway’s “New American Songbook.” Infusing the tunes with her perspective as a young artist, Evancho embraces these songs as one of the leading voices of contemporary theater.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty returns to Wynn in April to debut “My 50-Year Trip,” a new concert celebrating both the iconic musician’s half-century onstage and perhaps his best-known performance: the legendary New York music festival, Woodstock. With the festival’s 50th anniversary approaching in August 2019, Fogerty has put together an evening that highlights songs that were created at that time, like “Born On The Bayou,” “Proud Mary,” and all the fan favorites from Creedence Clearwater Revival, including Fogerty’s original Woodstock set List. Encore Theater is the perfect venue for this special evening, combining outstanding acoustics with an intimate vibe to showcase a montage of vintage photography and Fogerty’s own stories about one of the greatest musical gatherings of all time.
Please join us for this exciting performance.
Inspired by the timeless story of Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story takes Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers, and places them in the vibrant battleground of New York City’s West Side in the 1950s. Amid the deep-seated rivalry between the Puerto Rican gang, the Sharks, and the white gang, the Jets, Maria and Tony discover that ancient grudges are no match for true love.  Their warring factions, however, refuse to back down, and the “rumbles,” romance and resentment lead the bloody path to the lovers’ ultimate, tragic conclusion.  With soaring, sophisticated and diverse melodies, energetic and athletic dance battles, and its remarkably salient social message, West Side Story remains one of American musical theatre’s most revolutionary and most loved treasures.
