The Glass Fusing Club is offering an afternoon of creative fun for the community.  It will include each participant creating a fused glass item.  You will have the option to create include a ring dish, a pocket vase, a night light, a tea light holder or a plant stake.  All materials and lots of help will be provided by the Glass Fusion Club to create your own piece of fused glass, no experience is needed.  The afternoon will also include some tasty goodies to enjoy while working on your piece.  The cost is $20.  Seating is limited. Welcoming the New Year 2025

Join Club D.I.A.L in celebrating the New Year 2025. 
They will host a New Year Social on Saturday, January 18th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
in the Vista Room. 
Come dance the night away to your favorite tunes and socialize with other residents!
 
It’s not only line dancing!
 
Bring your favorite snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy
This social is free to all residents and guests will have to pay a $5.00 fee. Please sign in at the front desk. Also note because we are having the social, there will not be a class Saturday morning of the 18th.

In January, the Technology Club is taking the month off. The next Technology Club meeting will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Vista Room. At this meeting, highlights of the Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas largest convention, will provide glimpses of leading edge products and services. Join us for this very informative meeting about the future. All residents are invited to attend.
 
Our future topics ins 2025 include PC backups, Genealogy, Artificial Intelligence. We are also looking for a speaker knowledgeable about Apple Mac Products and any suggestions for future topics. Please contact Wayne Headrick at wayne.headrick@gmail.com with your suggestions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
SUN CITY ALIANTE STEPPERS
ARE SEEKING MORE MEMBERS
 
It has been 18 years since the Sun City Aliante Steppers began performing at fundraising efforts for numerous charity organizations throughout the greater Las Vegas area and beyond under the Direction of Margo Young.  
 
Margo and the team constantly work on dances to add to their repertoire since requests to perform continue.  The Steppers recently performed  for Lunar New Year Celebrations at Sun City Aliante and the Desert Breeze Park Theatre.
 
The Steppers are looking for more members. Why don’t you stop by and see them in action in the Fitness Studio at the Sun City Aliante Community Center during a practice session every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

SUN CITY ALIANTE UKULELE STRUMMERS
 
Please note:  The Ukulele Strummers are taking a break for the month of January. Happy New Year and see you in February. 
 
There are many fun activities happening inside the Community Center!
The Ukulele Strummers are celebrating by playing some awesome tunes every Sunday afternoon. If you pass by our practice room some Sunday come on in and sing along! 
 
For 2025 Ukulele classes are offered as follows:
 
·         Beginning Ukulele: 1-1:30 p.m. every Sunday afternoon. This class is for beginning ukulele players who know the basic 5 chords. 
 
·         Advanced Ukulele:  1:30-2:30 p.m. every Sunday afternoon. This class is for intermediate players who have attended ukulele classes here or with another instructor and know ten or more basic chords. We will learn one or two new songs a week and play songs we know. We will also learn some new chords or playing techniques along the way.
·        
Fundamentals of Ukulele: For new students who have never played ukulele. This class is offered on Sundays at 12:30 pm. Please call me for availability.
 
We use Pete McCarty’s 2023 free book of over 450 songs for most of our music and I also email new music to students each week.

PICKLEBALL
 
 
Please note in the Breeze that there are no lessons being offered in the winter but they will resume in the spring. If anyone has questions regarding lessons, please contact Sarah Smith 702-635-4629.
 
 
 
 
CLUB D.I.A.L (Dance in a Line)
 
Do you want to learn how to Line Dance or learn new dances? Looking for a fun way to exercise. Come join members at Club Dial.
 
They teach Line Dancing for Beginners on Saturday morning from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
They also offer an Intermediate class on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 
On Monday evening, they offer an Intermediate II class from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Fitness Studio.
 
So come and join them for some dancing, exercise and fun.  
 
Club Dial hosts a Dance Social on the third Saturday of every month from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Vista Room.   They offer line dancing and a variety of other dances; so. everyone can enjoy themselves. For more information, contact Maryann Gorski at 702-642-3212 or email at mtg815@cox.net.
 
Please Note:  The Wednesday evening beginner's Line Dancing class has been cancelled until further notice.
