IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – Nevada Governor Sisolak Announces Indoor Mask Mandate Effective, Friday, July 30
Posted on Jul 30, 2021
Nevada Governor Sisolak Announces Indoor Mask Mandate
Effective, Friday, July 30
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak has imposed a new mask mandate that requires everyone, whether they are fully vaccinated or not, to wear a mask in public indoor places in Clark County and other Nevada counties with a high COVID-19 transmission rate.
The governor’s directive, which follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) new guidance on mask requirements, will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 30.
The mandate does not apply to participants in certain activities or events, including athletics.
 The mask mandate also does not apply to any outdoor activities.
The State of Nevada continues to encourage all residents and visitors to be vaccinated as soon as they are able. All three vaccines are safe and effective and Nevadans 12 years of age and older are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Go to or call 1-800-401-0946 for the latest information
on appointments and walk in availability.
Based on the Governor’s mandates, the following health guidelines will be strictly enforced
inside the Sun City Aliante Community Center:
All residents are now required to wear masks at all times
inside the Community Center.
The only exceptions to the the mask rule include:
*  Removing your mask momentarily to take a drink or
eating/drinking at a Lunch 'n' Learn Seminar
*  Using gym equipment
* Swimming or participating in an aqua aerobics class
* Participating in a Fitness Class
* Playing Table Tennis
*  Showering before and after using the pool
If you have a medical issue, we recommend you seek the advice of your doctor regarding wearing a mask.
 We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation on a daily basis and keep you informed of any changes.  These restrictions will remain in place until the State Health Authority Directives advise it is safe and the Board believes it is in the best interest of the community to remove them.
